Merry Christmas!

We hope you and your families had a very blessed and wonderful Christmas celebrating the birth of our Savior!

This is our Christmas card, which was not sent out. We tried taking family photos 4 different times and did not get our cards made until 2 nights ago. By that point we felt it was pointless to mail out. But we got it done!! I will post about our Christmas at a later date but it was a wonderful day with family!!

Christmas Cookie Decorating

The other day Camryn had Emma and Willa over to play and decorate Christmas cookies! They had so much fun and ate the majority of the icing and toppings as they were putting them on the cookies! Cam just icings one cookie and re-applies the icing and sprinkles as needed. These girls are too funny! I am so glad C has friends her age to do things with and that they get along so well!

Santa's Wonderland!

Last Sunday we headed to Santa's Wonderland with Matt's family. Camryn watched Rudolph while we waited in line so it went by pretty fast! Once we made it in we started drinking our hot chocolate and eating popcorn! Cam loved all the lights! She told us about everything she was seeing which is so fun!

Camryn's Second Birthday Party!

On December 10th Cam had her 2nd birthday party! It was a candyland theme. We had all kinds of candy, cake, cupcakes and other goodies to eat and the kiddos made ginger bread houses. I'm sure all the parents appreciated us giving their kids a sugar high before lunch! Camryn had so much fun and is so thankful to all her friends that came to celebrate with her!

I think the majority of the candy went in their mouths not the houses!!

Camryn loved when everyone was singing to her and she danced away!

Of course we I can't find one where we are looking at the same camera!

Trying on a few of her presents!

Sweet friends!

Vegas

At the end of November Matt and I headed to Vegas for our first Tutor Doctor conference. We arrived on a Wednesday and did not step foot outside until Saturday afternoon when the conference was over. I am serious. The only reason we knew it was raining and cold is because our phones told us. It was non stop but lots of good information and ideas. I wish we would have had more time to go to a show or two but they kept us busy from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. or later. Matt did go down to the casino one night and play blackjack for a bit. I went up to the room and went to bed. I never knew sitting all day could be so exhausting. Saturday after the conference was over we had about 3 hours to do the strip before we had to head to the airport. We went to the Bellagio to see the water show but it was too windy so we did not get to see it. But the inside was decorated for Christmas which made me happy!

Yes Please!

Here are some other random shots before we had to head to the airport.

Oh, and you better believe we are in our Baylor gear! When we got home that night, well actually Sunday morning at 2 a.m. my husband watched the Baylor texas game. He avoided the TV and his phone all day so he would not know what was going on. I on the other hand knew exactly what was going on and reading the play by play on my phone! Sic Em Bears!

Christmas Tree Chopping

The Sunday after Thanksgiving we headed to a cute little Christmas tree farm to chop down a tree. We walked around for a while but then ended up just buying one they had shipped in. It was a fun experience, Cam had a blast with the wagon.

In-N-Out

Matt has talked about In-N-Out burger for a while and Cam and I finally got to experience it while we were in Dallas. Everything is so fresh and Cam loved the fries. We let her have ketchup for the first time so she would dip the fry then lick the ketchup off and re dip. Unbelievable. And she loved the hats they handed out!

Gaylord Ice

One night while we were in Grapevine we headed to the Gaylord for Ice. You walk though ice sculptures and this year the theme was Shrek. It was 3 degrees inside but we had so much fun!

Ok, this picture is my child stuck on the ice slide. She was stuck for about 5 minutes. Koby (my brother) had just gone down and Matt was behind her about to go. They would not let Koby go up and get her or Matt slide down. I understand liability and all that but they had no plan of action in case something like this happened. They just kept telling us we had to wait for her to come down. I was beyond mad after a few minutes of my child laying on ice in 3 degrees yelling "mommy help, I stuck." Finally they let me walk to the bottom of the slide and I just told her to wiggle and finally she came down. She was not crying at all but told me "mommy, I really cold." My sweet sweet girl. Those workers are lucky my preggo self kept it together.
